Simple Tips For Buying Yorkie Parti Puppies

By Andrew Russell

Buying a dog is not something you just decide out of the blue. Dogs are emotional animals and require tender care and attention. So, you need to think about it before making up your mind. Once you have decided that you want to buy Yorkie Parti Puppies, you should start preparing. Below are some of the factors you need to consider.

Consider whether you have the time for the dog. If you want to keep a pet, you should be ready for long-term commitment. Some of these dogs can live to past 15 years. So, you should know that you are going to spend a long time together. Also, your dig will need daily attention, which requires time. Dogs that are neglected always develop behavior problems.

The average Yorkshire terrier does not need much exercise. However, these dogs require a lot of attention. If you are committed with work or school and do not have the time to show love to your puppy, you would rather wait. Alternatively, you may have to look for someone to leave it with when you are away.

Ensure that you have the money to keep a dog. Maintaining a dog can be expensive if you are not prepared. After buying the dog, that is not the end of your spending. Actually, that is just the beginning. You need to pay licensing fees and spaying/neutering, buy stuff such as a crate, toys, and carrier bag to ensure that your pet has a comfortable home. It will also have continuing needs such as medication and food.

Decide whether you really need a Yorkie. Dogs are not just different in appearance; things such as temperament and needs differ with the breed. This breed particularly is more of a toy breed. Hence, they are suitable for both apartments and big homes. However, at the end, each dog also has its own personality.

Understand the weaknesses of the breed. Every dog breed is adapted to the environment differently. Some are naturally aggressive while others are shy. Yorkie is territorial and can be quite noisy as it backs a lot. However, they are also very agile and like to play a lot.

When picking the puppy, ensure that you choose a healthy one. Inspect the entire litter so that you see their behavior and pick the one that looks the healthiest. Choose a pup that is bold. Pups like bullying their siblings, so look out for the one that is more dominant. Avoid dull looking pups because they could be sick.

Conduct a health assessment on the pup. You can examine the puppy physically and tell whether it is healthy. Check the eyes, ears, nose, and the rear. If you can see wateriness anywhere, that could indicate poor health. You should also observe their behavior to determine whether they act normal.

Check the pups medical history. During the early months, puppies need vaccination and medical check-ups. You need to ensure that these are followed to the latter. A delay in these medications may affect the health of the puppy. Moreover, you will have to pay for that out of pocket.
